Joyee Ghosh is a Ph.D. in Physics (2009) from School of Physical Sciences, JNU, INDIA, in collaboration with CNRS Laboratoire Aimé Cotton, Orsay, FRANCE. She was a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellow in ICFO-The Institute of Photonic Sciences, Barcelona, SPAIN; an Alexander von Humboldt fellow in Universitätdes Saarlandes, Saarbrücken, GERMANY; and a Joint Quantum Institute (JQI) postdoc fellow at NIST: National Institute of Standards and Technology, Maryland, USA till 2013. She joined the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, INDIA in 2013 as a Faculty of Physics and is currently an Associate Professor, leading the Quantum Photonics group, working on quantum technologies for free-space and fiber-based quantum communication, and coherent light-matter interaction, among other interests. She has more than 50 publications in peer-reviewed top international journals and has over 200 conference presentations/seminars/talks. She is also a PI of prestigious research projects on quantum technologies funded by DST-QuEST, DRDO and SERB. Based on different demonstrations of quantum sources/entangled photon sources, her group has achieved Free-space Hybrid-Entangled Photon based Misalignment-Resilient Secure QKD with QBER~6% and All-fiber-integrated Polarization-Entangled Photons based Multi-user Quantum Communication up to 100-km with QBER 6-9%. Her research work was highlighted in ABP news online. She is an Expert member of the Joint Quantum Communication Working Group in ISRO and NQM: National Quantum Mission, Govt. of India. She was invited by the Principal Scientific Advisor (PSA), Govt. of India to make a joint presentation on the status of Hardware for Quantum Communication in July 2023 during the National State-of-the-Art Discussion Meeting on “Quantum Communication”. Recently she has been appointed as a Humboldt Ambassador Scientist from
India, by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.

Yogendra Swaroop Dwivedi received his M.Sc. degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, India, in 2004 and his M.Tech. degree in Applied Optics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, India, in 2007. With over 17 years of industrial and research experience across multiple countries, he is currently working as a Senior Software Architect at Ericsson, Gurgaon, India. He is pursuing doctoral research at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi, focusing on quantum computing applications for optical sensors and artificial intelligence-driven photonic systems. He has published several research articles in reputed international journals and has presented his work at leading conferences. His research interests include fiber-optic sensors, surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensors, photonic devices, machine learning, and quantum computing applications for optical sensing. Mr. Dwivedi is an active member of IEEE and is involved in cutting-edge research on quantum-assisted signal processing for sensor applications.

Dejun Liu, received his Ph.D. degree in 2018 from the Photonics Research Center at Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland. In December 2018, he joined the Guangdong and Hong Kong Joint Research Centre for Optical Fibre Sensors, College of Physics and Optical Engineering at Shenzhen University, where he currently serves as Assistant Professor, Senior Researcher, and Ph.D. Supervisor. He is also recognized as a high-level overseas talent under Shenzhen's Peacock Plan. Dr. Liu was honored with the “2018 Excellent Overseas Self-funded Student Scholarship” by the China Scholarship Council (CSC). He is leading several research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Provincial Regional Joint Fund, and Shenzhen’s Basic Research General Fund. His research interests include Femtosecond laser induced two-photon polymerization, fiber-optic endoscopic imaging, fiber-optic sensing technologies and their applications in human life sciences and healthcare. He has published over 80 peer-reviewed papers in prestigious optical and photonics journals, such as International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing, ACS Photonics, and Optics Letters. His work has been cited over 2,000 times and with an H-index of 22. He holds three patents and has also contributed as a reviewer for numerous journals. Additionally, Dr. Liu serves as a guest editor for Sensors and as a topic editor for Frontiers in Sensors.

Jiaxin Cai received his Ph.D. degree in Information and Computation Science from Sun Yat-Sen University in 2014. He also received his M.S. degree and B.Sc. degree in Bio-medical Engineering from Southern Medical University in 2011 and 2008 respectively. Currently, he is an associate professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Xiamen University of Technology. He has authored over 40 peer-reviewed papers at academic journals and conferences. His current research interests include machine learning, computer vision and bio-medical engineering.

Dr. Mariam Gevorgyan is a distinguished physicist and associate professor with extensive experience in laser physics and quantum mechanics. She earned her Ph.D. jointly from the Université de Bourgogne, France, and the National Academy of Sciences, Armenia, with a focus on controlling photoassociation of atomic Bose-Einstein condensates using laser field configurations. Currently, Dr. Gevorgyan serves as an Associate Professor at the French University in Armenia, where she is actively involved in teaching and mentoring students in the fields of physics, quantum mechanics, and applied mathematics. She has contributed significantly to research on quantum nonlinear systems, spectroscopic properties of crystals, and laser applications in physics. Dr. Gevorgyan has published numerous research articles in leading journals, including Physical Review Letters and The European Physical Journal D, and has participated in prestigious international conferences and seminars on laser physics and photonics. Her academic interests also include the development of innovative educational methodologies and the enhancement of doctoral education. In addition to her academic pursuits, Dr. Gevorgyan is an active member of several professional societies, including the Institute of Cited Scientists (ICS) and the International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE). She has received multiple research grants and fellowships, highlighting her contributions to advancing the understanding of quantum phenomena and laser physics.

He is a researcher in Physics at Technion, Israel. His current research focuses on high-order harmonic generation (HHG) from atomic gases, and solids driven by conventional Gaussian beam, and spatially structured light beams such as Laguerre-Gauss (LG), Bessel-Gauss (BG), and perfect optical vortex (POV) beams. He investigates both micro and macroscopic aspects of HHG, and the utilization of optical beams carrying orbital angular momentum (OAM) to control and manipulate the light-matter interaction at microscopic scale. He also works on the generation, and propagation of spatially structured beams for their use in novel applications such as in cryptography, free-space optical communication, to name a few.

Dr. Thamer Mahmood Mohammed is a lecturer and academic at the Tikrit University, College of Dentistry, specializing in laser applications research in the medical and industrial fields, he earned his Ph.D. from, Laser and Optoelectronics engineering department, Al-Nahrain University in 2024 and a master's degree (M.Sc.) from the graduate Laser and Optoelectronics Engineering department, University of Technology, Iraq in 2016, and a bachelor's degree(B.Sc.) from the same institution in 2009, His achievements include the Researcher Award at the University of Technology in 2009, and the Prime Minister's Government Award for pioneering works and projects in 2009 at the University of Baghdad Conference for the Third Sovereignty Festival, a researcher in laser and optoelectronic applications, Al-Nahrain University and Tikrit University institutions who research field in diagnosis spectroscopy of gases and liquids environment pollution, fiber optic sensors, free space optical communications in ,transmission line optical communications, academic and research experience in the field of evaluation of research on laser applications and technology in the journals of the Springer nature publishing , and his Reviewer for the journals, Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, Journal of optics, Water conservation Science and Engineering.

After graduating in electronic engineering at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” with an experimental thesis on the development of X-band radio frequency accelerating structures carried out in collaboration with the Frascati National Laboratories, I started my professional career at the ALBA synchrotron light source (Barcelona) as a project engineer for the Linac. I then moved to the Paul Scherrer Institute where I held several positions within the accelerator division in the development of the new SwissFEL facility. After 3 years I moved to a private Spanish company operating in the space electronics development sector, with the task of organizing a new division for the development of solid-state RF amplifiers for particle accelerators. Since 2014 I have been working at the Frascati National Laboratories where I hold several project management positions including: design of a gamma source to be built at ELI-np and as project manager of the EuPRAXIA project. In 2017 I obtained the PMP (project management professional) certification issued by the Project Management Institute and still in force.

Ronan Pinto Nobrega dos Santos is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Nanotechnology Engineering at COPPE/UFRJ, Brazil, focusing on the development of nanomedicines and nanovaccines using microfluidic devices. He holds a Master’s degree in the same field, during which he designed and fabricated an optofluidic nanosensor for biological detection. His academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from UFRJ. With extensive experience in photonics, particularly in optical fiber-based sensors, Ronan integrates nanotechnology with microfluidics to develop advanced sensing solutions. His work combines innovative experimental techniques with computational simulations, contributing to significant advancements in the fields of optics and nanotechnology.

Dr. Rijuparna Chakraborty is an accomplished optics researcher with a distinguished career in academia and international research collaborations. She is currently a Research Faculty at the Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata, India. Previously, she contributed to groundbreaking projects as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the California Institute of Technology (LIGO) from 2012 to 2015 and as a Maitre de Conférence Associé at Observatoire De La Côte d’Azur in France from 2010 to 2012.

Dr. Chakraborty earned her Ph.D. in Technology in 2011 from the University of Calcutta, focusing on the generation of quasi-propagation-invariant beams using diffractive optical elements. Her academic achievements include a first-class M.Tech. (2004) and B.Tech. (2002) in Optics and Optoelectronics from the University of Calcutta, where she consistently remained one of the top performers of her batch.

Dr. Chakraborty has published over 20 research papers in renowned journals and presented at numerous international conferences. Her notable contributions include her work in gravitational wave detection, advanced beam shaping, and the development of optical logic gates. She has also been awarded several patents for her innovative research in optical systems and photonics technologies.

Her outstanding contributions to science have been recognized with prestigious awards, including:
  • The Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics (2016), awarded to the LIGO collaboration for the observation of gravitational waves.
  • The Best Paper Award at the International Conference in Optics and Optoelectronics (2005) in Dehradun, India, and,   Multiple Milton Chang Incubic Travel Awards from the Optical Society of America (OSA) for her groundbreaking research presented at Frontiers in Optics (FIO) conferences in 2006 and 2008.

Dr. Jian Xu is an Assistant Professor at Kyoto University, specializing in Persistent Phosphors, Transparent Ceramics, and LED Phosphors. He earned his Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies at Kyoto University in 2017, an M.S. from the Graduate School of Materials Science and Engineering at Shanghai University in 2013, and a B.S. from the same institution in 2010. His accolades include the 2013 Young Investigator Award at the ISLNOM-6 International Conference, the 2015 Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad, the 2018 Best Team Presentation Award at the 10th JSPS HOPE Meeting with Nobel Laureates, the 2017 Best Paper Award from the Journal of the American Ceramic Society, and the 2019 Outstanding Reviewer for the Journal of Materials Chemistry C by the Royal Society of Chemistry. Dr. Xu's professional experience includes roles as JSPS DC2 (2017-2018) and JSPS PD (2018-2020) at Kyoto University, and ICYS Research Fellow at NIMS (2020-2024), before his current position. His selected publications include notable works in journals such as the Journal of Luminescence, Inorganic Chemistry, Journal of the American Ceramic Society, and Journal of Materials Chemistry C.

Pshko A. Mohammed: was born in Kalar, Kurdistan region of Iraq. He received BSc/Physics in 2003, MSc/ Applied Electromagnetics in 2007 from University of Sulaimani, and PhD in 2017 from University of Bath- United Kingdom. His research interest is in photopolymer materials, polymer composites, Electrical and Optical properties of polymers.

Ananya Banerjee received the B.Tech. degree from the Odisha University of Technology and Research formerly College of Engineering and technology, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India in 2018. She is currently a Ph.D. research scholar in the Department of Electronics Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, India. Her current research interests include Optical sensors, Fiber Optic Sensing. She is a Student Member of IEEE, SPIE and OPTICA. She is also the reviewer of Physica Scripta of IOP Publishing. She has published her work in IEEE sensors journal and Plasmonics Springer Journal.

Prof Jolly Xavier is presently an Associate Professor at the department of SeNSE, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. At IIT Delhi he also leads an innovative research group MiD-Q-MiNT (Miniaturized Devices with Quantum enhanced Micro/Nano Technologies) where his research focuses on design, development, analysis and implementation of advanced devices and technologies integrating Quantum sensing and imaging, Nanophotonics/plasmonics, Single molecule Biosensors, Integrated photonics, and Miniaturized electromechanical machines for biomedical and industrial applications. Prof Jolly Xavier received his PhD degree from IIT Delhi in 2012 where part of his PhD research is carried out at University of Muenster, Germany under DAAD sandwich model fellowship. Prior to joining IIT Delhi as Associate Professor in 2021, Prof. Xavier was a Research Fellow/Lecturer in University of Exeter, UK, a Max Planck Postdoctoral Fellow at Max Planck Institute
for the Science of Light (MPL), Erlangen Germany as well as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin (HZB), Germany.

Hua Ma, The Professor of Physics in China, Winner of National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award, Winner of the New Century Excellent Talents Support Program of the Ministry of Education. Mainly engaged in the research of theoretical physics, also the sustainable development of mankind has been considered, and some mathematical problems are considered.

Sagar Sutradhar is a Post-doctoral Researcher at CNR-INO, Italy. He earned his Ph.D. in 2023 from the Raman Research Institute in Bangalore, India, specializing in laser cooling of ultra cold atoms. His current research explores the laser cooling and trapping of polar molecules, investigating their dynamics in optical potentials. This work is driven by the goal of advancing and applying ultra cold molecules in quantum technologies.

Chongbiao Luan received the B.S. degree in physics and the Ph.D. degree in microelectronics and solid state electronics from Shandong University, Jinan, China, in 2009 and 2014, respectively. He works at pulsed power with the Institute of Fluid Physics, China Academy of Engineering Physics, Mianyang, China. His current research interest includes the solid state pulsed power technology, especially in solid state switches and storage devices.

Professor. Salim Albukhaty is a PhD holder in Nanobiotechnology with a background in veterinary medicine and public health. He is an accomplished professor of Nanobiotechnology with expertise in various research areas, including the design and fabrication of nanoparticles for anti-cancer drug delivery, electrospun nanofibers for wound dressing, and the green synthesis of metal oxide nanoparticles with antimicrobial properties.

He is particularly interested in the application of nanotechnology in drug delivery and stem cell research. Salim Albukhaty is an active member of several professional associations, including the Middle East Molecular Biology Society (MEMBS), Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council (INIC), World Academy of Science, Engineering, and Technology (WASET), and the distinguished Researchers Group at the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Salim Albukhaty has a wealth of experience in academia and has held various administrative positions within Misan University, Iraq, including serving as the Dean of the Nursing College. He has supervised postgraduate research scholars, published numerous research papers in academic journals, and presented his work at national and international conferences. He currently holds the position of Assistant President for Scientific Affairs and Scientific Research at Al-Manara University in Maysan.

His research interests include the synthesis of nanoparticles, their characterization, and their applications in diverse fields, such as drug delivery, wound healing, and antimicrobial activity.
