Dr. Luka Powanga is a renowned problem solver and thought leader with extensive expertise in logistics, economics, finance, and international business. He played a pivotal role in developing Regis University's Online MBA Program, growing it to over 4,000 students, and chaired the MBA program while also establishing joint graduate degrees with institutions like ITESO and Ulster. He was instrumental in founding the Sullivan Center for Entrepreneurship and evaluating program viability at Regis University.
Luka has chaired and keynoted numerous global conferences, particularly in renewable energy, and founded the Energy Africa Conference to connect investors with African projects. He also hosts the Executive Speaker Night Series at Regis University. A founding member of the Denver Angel Capital Group and featured in the film Hot Money, Luka sits on various boards aimed at improving business and supporting underserved communities. His passion is making the world a better place for all.

Prof. Hanshen Li received his B.S.E. degree in Electric Power Engineering and Automation from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China, and the M.E. degree in Information, Production and Systems Engineering from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan, and M.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from SJTU, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in North China Electric Power University (NCEPU), Beijing, China. Prof. Li has been a researcher at China Electric Power Planning and Engineering Institute (EPPEI) since 2023. His research interests include planning and operation of active distribution networks, where Li has published 50+ papers with over 200 total citations. He has been an editorial board of Journal of Energy Science and Technology since 2023, and also member of IEEE, IEEJ, CSEE and CES.

Soocheol Lee is a Professor of Faculty of Economics, Meijo University in Japan. He graduated from Seoul National University in Korea and received his PhD at the Graduate School of Kyoto University in Japan. He had worked for the Federation of Korean Industry as a team leader of Economic Research Department for about 10 years before he came to Japan. He has leaded Research Group of East Asia Environmental Policy Studies since 2002 and has written many books and papers on energy and environmental policy design and cooperation for sustainable low-carbon economy in East Asia. He had served as a Vice president of the Asian Association of Environmental and Resource Economics(AAERE), 2021-2023. He is currently Director of Society for Environmental Economics and Policy Studies, Japan(SEEPS) and Advisor of Korea Environmental Economics Association(KEEA).

Dr. R.B. Choudhary is an Associate Professor at the Nanostructured Composite Materials Laboratory (NCML) in the Department of Physics at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, India. He holds a Ph.D. from PTU Jalandhar and IIP (CSIR Lab.) Dehradun, and an M.Tech. in Surface and Colloid Science from NIT Jamshedpur. With over 24 years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Choudhary has supervised 18 Ph.D. students and authored 85 SCI journal articles. His accolades include the World’s Top 2% Research Scientist Award from Stanford University (2022) and the Indra Mohan Thapar Research Award (2022). His research focuses on nanostructured materials for energy applications, with projects supported by DST and ONGC. Dr. Choudhary has collaborated internationally with institutions in Germany, France, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia. He is also a peer reviewer for numerous prestigious journals and has delivered invited lectures at various scientific forums.

My name is Mohamed Ibrahim Abdelaal. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Aswan University, Egypt, and a Master’s degree specializing in geodynamics, where I focused on utilizing space geodesy techniques, particularly GPS, to monitor seismic activity in Egypt's seismogenic zones. Currently, I am a Ph.D. researcher in the Signal Processing Lab at the School of Electronic Engineering, Xidian University, Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. My research interests include using Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) techniques for monitoring and tracking natural disasters such as earthquakes and employing Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) methods for the preservation of cultural heritage sites.

Amritansh Sagar (Graduate Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Jharkhand, India and the MTech. degree in power electronics and drives from the Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat, India. He completed his Ph.D. degree with the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Padua, Italy in 2024. From August 2017 to December 2018, he was an Assistant Professor with Silver Oak University, Ahmedabad. From March 2019 to June 2020, he was a Junior Research Fellow with VIT, Vellore, India. He is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in the University of Rome. His research interests include wireless power transfer for electric vehicle charging, system modelling and design, grid stability and control of power.

Jinsong Wu received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada, in 2006. He received 2020 IEEE Green Communications and Computing Technical Committee (TCGCC) Distinguished Technical Achievement Recognition Award, for his outstanding technical leadership and achievement in green wireless communications and networking. He was the leading editor and a coauthor of the comprehensive book, entitled Green Communications: Theoretical Fundamentals, Algorithms, and Applications (CRC Press, September 2012). He received the 2017, 2019, and 2021 IEEE System Journal Best Paper Awards. His coauthored paper won the 2018 IEEE Green Communications Best Magazine Paper Award. He was elected Vice-Chair Technical Activities (2017-2022), IEEE Environmental Engineering Initiative, a pan-IEEE effort under IEEE Technical Activities Board (TAB). He was the Founder and Founding Chair of IEEE Technical Committee on Green Communications and Computing (TCGCC) (2011 – 2017). He was a Co-Founder and the Founding Vice-Chair of the IEEE Technical Committee on Big Data (TCBD) (2014-2022).

Dr. Haiwen Ge is a Senior Technical Specialist at the Zhejiang Laboratory, China. He got Bachelor and Master degrees from University of Science and Technology of China, and Doctor of Science from Heidelberg University. In 2006-2010, he worked as a postdoc fellow at the Engine Research Center, University of Wisconsin-Madison. Since 2010, he worked at Ford, Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), and John Deere. He was the Senior Technical Specialist on Combustion Development at the FCA. in2017-2023, Dr. Ge worked as a lecture/Associate Professor of Practice at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Texas Tech University. Dr. Ge’s research focused on development of advanced models, numerical algorithms, simulation and optimization methods for thermal fluid problems, especially reactive flow, two-phase flow, engine combustion, manufacturing processes of integrated circuits. He has published 2 monographs, 5 book chapters, 84 archived papers, and 79 conference papers/presentations. He was the chair of SAE Powertrain Development Committee. Currently he is one of the Executive Associates of ASME Internal Combustion Engine Division, a member of SAE Engine Combustion Committee, a member of ASTFE Thermal Science Technical Committee, and a member of editorial board of the journal Computational Thermal Sciences.

Rinaldy was born in Tanjung Pinang, Indonesia, and completed his undergraduate at University of Indonesia (UI) with the title of National Exemplary Student. He started his career working as an Electrical Engineer at the US Oil Company (PT. Caltex PasificIndonesia) for three and a half years. After Caltex, he became a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at UI. Then he continued his Masters at Michigan State University and Doctoral education at Virginia Tech USA. During his time as a Lecturer, he served as Head of the Electrical Power Systems Laboratory from 1995-2004, and became Head of Energy Studies at UI from 1994-2002. In 2004-2008 he served as Dean of Faculty of Engineering UI. He was appointed as a Member of the UI Board of Trustees for the 2000-2024 period, and as a Member of the UI School Committee for Strategic and Global Studies. His off-campus career in accordance with his field of study is the founder of The Indonesian Renewable Energy Society (METI) organization and served as the first Secretary General of METI, and in 2018-2022 as Chairman of the METI Expert Council. In 2009-2014 Rinaldy was appointed as a member of the National Energy Council (DEN) which helped draftThe National Energy Policy (KEN), and in 2014-2019 he was reappointed and helped draft The National Energy General Plan (RUEN). Rinaldy wrote a book entitled "Towards the Renewable Energy Era" which is required reading for students taking the Energy Management Course. During his career as a Lecturer, Rinaldy has written more than a hundred Papers related to Electrical Power Engineering and Energy at the National and International levels.

Ahmed S. A. Awad received the B.Sc. and the M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2007 and 2010, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, in 2014. In between 2007 and 2009, he worked as an Electrical Design Engineer with Dar El-Handasah (Shair and partners) and Allied Consultants Co. in Egypt. He also worked with Siemens Canada Limited between 2014 and 2016. He joined CanmetENERGY, Natural Resources Canada, in 2016, as a Research Engineer, where he is conducting and managing research activities related to active distribution networks and remote microgrids. He is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of Windsor, ON, Canada. His research interests include integration of sustainable energy technologies into power systems, electricity market equilibrium, as well as operation and control of power systems. Dr. Awad is currently an Editor for the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON SUSTAINABLE ENERGY, and a Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
