Graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II, Italy, has been Professor of Environmental Topics at University of Naples Parthenope. He is currently Adjunct Professor of Circular Economy at Wessex Institute of Technology in Southampton and Visiting Professor of Environment Management at Cranfield University in Bedford, UK. He is also board member of Italian National Agency of Digital Transformation.
He has been involved in several worldwide international research projects and he is author of more than 120 scientific publications in wide fields of engineering.
He’s currently member of several worldwide International Scientific Committee. He’s member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Energy Engineering Science and Journal of Hydrology Science, from Publishing Group, New York, USA, of which is also Auditor Scientific Officer. He has also planned several high-technical engineering projects in environmental field. Since 1996 he is member of National Geographic Society and since 1996 member of New York Academy of Sciences. He was chairman of Italian National Environment Commission and has got Public Merit of Italian Prime Minister, awarded in 2011.

Dr. Dai-Yeun Jeong is the Director of the Asia Climate Change Education Center and an Emeritus Professor of Environmental Sociology at Jeju National University, South Korea. He holds BA and MA degrees in Sociology from Korea University and a PhD in Environmental Sociology from the University of Queensland, Australia. He previously served as President of the Asia-Pacific Sociological Association and taught at the University of Sheffield, UK. Dr. Jeong has advised national and international bodies, including the UNFCCC, OECD Environmental Meetings, and Korea's Presidential Commission on Sustainable Development. He has published 13 books and over 60 academic papers and led more than 100 environmental research projects supported by domestic and international agencies. Dr. Jeong also contributed to UNESCO’s World Network of Island and Coastal Biosphere Reserves as Acting Director of the Jeju Secretariat. His work has significantly shaped environmental education and sustainability policies in the Asia-Pacific region.

Dr. Jauad El Kharraz is the CEO of WECEN, a consultancy firm specializing in water, energy, and climate projects. He is also a Senior Advisor to the European Climate Foundation and FAO. From 2021 to 2024, he served as Executive Director of RCREEE. With over 25 years of experience, his expertise spans sustainable energy, energy policy, solar and wind technologies, green hydrogen, water management, desalination, and the water-energy-food nexus. He previously directed research at the Middle East Desalination Research Center and held advisory roles with international organizations including the European Commission, UN-ESCWA, and PRIMA. Dr. El Kharraz has contributed to major international programs and events, including COP26–COP29, and forums in over 60 countries. He holds MSc and PhD degrees in Physics from the University of Valencia and a business diploma from SKEMA Business School. A Moroccan-French national, he is fluent in Arabic, French, Spanish, and English.

Dr. Tryggvi Thor Herbertsson is Head of Hydrogen Strategy and Partnerships at Qair International, Chairman of Qair Iceland, and Founder of Taurus slf., a corporate and investment advisory firm. He also chairs Vistafl and Quadran Iceland and serves on the Advisory Board of FinEquia and the steering group for the Task Force for Carbon Pricing Europe. Formerly, he was a Member of Parliament in Iceland, serving on economic and industry committees, and was Special Economic Advisor during the 2008 banking crisis. He has held academic posts as Professor of Economics and led the Institute of Economic Studies. Dr. Herbertsson has consulted for Fortune 500 companies, governments, and global organizations such as the IMF, World Bank, OECD, and the European Commission. He has authored 50+ scholarly papers, 13 books, and 100+ op-eds on economics and policy. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Aarhus.
