From 2015, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and Purdue University, USA. In 2020, he assumed a full-time position as a Senior Engineer in Permanent High-Performance Computing in the United States.

Michele Nash will bust the myths and misconceptions surrounding the future of American manufacturing in the global economy and highlight the resurgence of manufacturing jobs in America, emphasizing that they are neither dull, dirty, nor dangerous. With the rise of reshoring and advanced manufacturing, there has been a notable upswing in manufacturing within the United States. The COVID-19 pandemic underscored the critical role of domestic manufacturing to protect national security and safeguard the health and welfare of Americans. We’re in the midst of creative disruption, and we’re not preparing sufficiently. There are vibrant opportunities in manufacturing that are worth billions of dollars. Michele will spotlight the abundant opportunities in manufacturing, valued in billions of dollars, poised to create millions of jobs. To take advantage of these opportunities, we need to prepare people for these jobs through, education, workforce training, and apprenticeships. She will address how a concerted effort is needed to equip individuals with the necessary skills for manufacturing jobs through education, workforce training, and apprenticeships.
