Eng. Mohammed Al Ta'ani is the Secretary General of Arab Renewable Energy Commission (AREC)and the Vice Chairman of Jordanian Renewable Energy Society (JRES) & general manager . He is the founder of both JRES & AREC. He was working in the field of Renewable Energy since 1988 (Solar PV &Green Building) as Project manager and researcher and publish more than 25 papers. From 1999-2007 he was the project manager for the Renewable energy in King Abdullah the Second Design&Development Bureau (KADDB). In 2002 he was the Project manager for the Jordanian Solar Car & Zero fossil Fuel House (Eco House for KADDB) Project manager. He was the Vice Director of Energy Center in Jordan University from 2007 until 2008 where he was working as the founder of this center. He was the founder of the Global Net for Renewable Energy in the Desert regions (GNREADER). Also was the Chairman of Renewable energy committee in Jordan Institution for Standards & Metrology , Ambassador of the DONG energy solar challenge events in the middle-east countries (World Cup for Solar Powered Boats). Member in the board of directors of renewable energy center in Philadephia university.

Dagmara Kociuba - assistant professor in the Department of Spatial Management at Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin, Poland. Author and co-author of more than 90 publications on regional and local development, urban studies and spatial planning. A large part of her work concerns the implementation of EU cohesion policy (ITI, RIS3, ROPs), EU climate and energy policies and legislation, as well as management, cooperation and sustainable development of FUAs. She has presented the results of her research at international conferences and congresses, including ERSA, RSA, CEE, RSAI. Dr. D. Kociuba has held academic fellowships and participated in the TOP 500 Innovators program (University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, UK) and TOP Minds program (Fulbright Poland). She is an editor in Bulletin of Geography. Socio-economic Series. Dr. D. Kociuba cooperates with ministries and regional and local authorities, including in the implementation of EU programs, development of urban strategies and spatial planning and greenery. She is a substantive evaluation expert in NOPs, and in scientific institutions (e.g. NAWA). She has implemented grants and scientific projects under EU (OPIE, URBACT II, Interreg Europe) and national funds. She also has many years of experience in running and managing SMEs. She is a member of CPnet and was a member of the Board of ERSA - Polish Section (2013-2023). In her activities, Dr. Kociuba effectively develops the university's cooperation with local and regional authorities, NGOs and business.

Adrián Will received a degree in Mathematics from FAMAFUNC and a Ph.D in Mathematics from the same university. He currently is the Director of the Research Group GITIA, a Research Group focused on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and its applications, in the National Technological University (UTN), Tucumán Faculty. He has published articles in several national and international journals and conferences, and presented two patent applications. He is also involved in several industrial projects dealing with Optimization of Electricity Distribution Networks, Energy Consumption Management, and Energy Efficiency. His team won awards in 2021 and 2022 Innovar prizes, for their work on Smart Grids.

Dr. Deepak L. Waikar, Chair, IEEE Education Society, Singapore, Ex-Managing Partner of EduEnergy Singapore, & Adviser for Vab Creative Consulting & Metafluint Pte Ltd Singapore has been involved in education, training, research, and management fields for more than three decades. He started his professional career as an Assistant Director at the National Power Engineers Training Institute in India after his post-graduation from the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University in India. He has been associated with the premier institutions, polytechnics, colleges, and academies in India and Singapore as well as with British and Australian Universities offering courses in Singapore. He has authored/co-authored books, book chapters, research articles, and policy papers on power, energy, management, sustainable development, virtual digital teacher, e-learning, leadership, and education-related topics. He has served on various committees in professional bodies such as Chair of the Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers (IEEE), Power & Energy Society (PES) Chapter, Singapore, and Chair of the IEEE Education Society Chapter Singapore. He is a recipient of the IEEE-PES Outstanding Power Engineers' Award and SP Green Buddy Award. Dr. Waikar has been associated with Singapore Certified Energy Manager’s programme for more than a decade. He has also been an advisory committee member of the Indo-Universal Centre for Engineering Education (IUCEE). He has served as Editors and Reviewers for the conferences and journals and external examiner for assessing Master Dissertations and Doctoral Theses.
He has delivered hundreds of invited keynotes, plenary, panel session presentations on power, sustainable and clean energy, education, management, sustainability, virtual digital teaching, and leadership related topics at the international conferences, seminars and forums in North & South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. He has also been invited to give captivating & impactful inaugural, valedictory, and guest speeches for conferences, seminars, graduation ceremonies, and similar events of colleges, institutions, and universities. He has been providing a range of advisory, training, coaching, mentoring, and consultancy services for colleges, institutes, organisations, and individuals. Dr. Waikar has conducted hundreds of students, faculty, and management development programmes on various topics such as Sustainable & Clean Energy, Designing & Managing Innovative Research and Development projects, Strategies for Infusing Blended Learning, Rethinking Teaching and Learning, Trainopreneurship, Problem & Project-based Learning, Design Thinking, and Transforming Higher Education. Since July 2020, such programmes are offered through online mode/platform with almost similar effect.

Dr. Budagyan graduated from the Moscow National Research University of Electronic Technology in 1980, attained a Ph.D. in physics and mathematics in 1985, and a Doctor of Science in materials science in 1993. From 1993 to 2001, he served as Professor and head of the Material Science department coordinating international and domestic projects in the Solar PV energy sector. From 2003 to 2010 as Director of R&D and Engineering at Adema Technologies Inc., Mountain View, California, he developed and implemented advanced systems for growing Silicon material for the PV industry. Since 2020, he has served as the president and founder of Adapses Inc., a start-up company based in Charlotte, North Carolina, that develops and offers cutting-edge smart energy solutions, combining the power of PV Solar Energy systems with intelligent Smart Home solutions. Dr. Budagyan has contributed approximately 70 scholarly articles to scientific journals, published seven books, and attended more than 60 scientific conferences. In 2024 has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who.

Marion Langlet is a master's student in geography at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland and intern for one year at the defense group of the swiss army headquarters for sustainable development and environment. She is particularly interested in the integrative approach to problem-solving and related policies. Her interests are fair govenance mitigation and environmental justice, with a particular focus on the valuable collaboration between players from different fields of expertise and world leaders.
She holds two bachelor's degrees, in primary education and in geography with a minor in biology. She is currently curator of the Fribourg Hub for the Global Shapers community, which has enabled her to start implementing her ideas for a fairer and more sustainable future.

I am a business-oriented leader with over 15 years of experience in the international mining and metallurgical industry, specializing in novel mineral processing technologies. My expertise lies in scaling up laboratory to pilot-scale technologies and processes to achieve profitability. I prioritize pragmatic and risk-managed technology development, emphasizing the importance of building the right team for successful scale-up. Throughout my career, I have consistently delivered technical, financial, and reputational success. I have expertise in classification, physical separation and flotation of various minerals, and I have worked with leading mining houses and equipment suppliers on global projects involving REE, PGM, gold, copper, cobalt, nickel, lead, zinc, iron, barite, apatite and phosphates. I have strong skills in developing and implementing R&D strategies, managing budgets and resources, managing complex research initiatives, consulting and training in the industry, and risk assessment and mitigation.

My research spans the fields of dynamics, vibration, control, applied mechanics, structural health monitoring, and wind energy, and integrates analytical development, numerical simulation, experimental validation, and industrial application. Much of the current research can be divided into three areas: 1) vibration and stability of distributed structural systems; 2) finite element modeling, modal testing, model updating, and structural damage detection; and 3) infinitely variable transmission and wind energy. In the first area, we have developed new methodologies for analyzing and controlling the vibration of linear and nonlinear, time-invariant and time-varying, distributed-parameter systems. In the second area, we have addressed some major challenges in model-based damage detection: accurate modeling of structures and inverse analysis for damage detection. In the third area, we are developing novel all-geared infinitely variable transmission and variable electromotive-force generators.

Dr. Moinuddin Sarker, Ph.D., MRSC, has been the Chairman, CEO, and CTO of Waste Technologies, LLC (WTL) and SheBa Group, USA since 2013, and he is the company's sole owner. WTL has been working on Waste Management and through a green initiative bent on converting Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) into Diesel, Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG), Jet Fuel, Bio-gas, and Organic Compost (Fertilizer) / Electricity by using different green generators, especially Waste Plastic to Low Sulfur Fuel.
Dr. Sarker is an entrepreneur set on creating green jobs in local and International communities, being the owner of several other companies such as SheBa Green Technologies LLC, SheBa Enterprises LLC, SheBa Construction LLC, SheBa Magic Touch LLC, SheBa Waste Technologies Ltd (Bangladesh), SheBa Landscaping and Design LLC, Noor Zahan Kamal Web Technology (NKWT), SheBa Web Technology LLC, Solid Waste Solution LLC, Green Waste Management Solution LLC, SheBa Publication LLC, SheBa Web Technology LLC, SheBa Precision LLC, SheBa Construction Bangladesh Ltd, SheBa Publication Bangladesh Ltd, SheBa Waste Technologies Ltd (Bangladesh) and Waste Technologies Bangladesh Ltd. Dr. Moinuddin Sarker received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), Manchester, UK. He also has a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the same University, UMIST, and accomplished another Master’s degree in Chemistry, from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. From 2013-2023, Dr. Sarker, has developed a unique method to convert plastic into liquid fuel. Dr. Sarker is the inventor of the technologies Entitled: “METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR CONVERTING PLASTIC TO FUEL”.
Dr. Sarker has more 130 research publications and has written 6 books including chapters. In addition, he is a Chief, Full Editor, Co-Editors, Associate Editor, and Reviewer in more than 130 peer review journals around the globe.

Gerardo Maria Mauro was born in Benevento (Italy) on May 12, 1988. He is Associate Professor of Applied Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer at “Università degli Studi del Sannio”, Department of Engineering, since December 2021. His main research topics concern: i) advanced modeling and optimization of heat transfer systems via computational fluid dynamics and numerical methods, e.g., topology optimization; ii) numerical simulation and optimization of building energy design or retrofit; iii) large-scale analysis of building stocks via machine/deep learning; iv) development and optimization of strategies for the model predictive control of energy systems; v) investigation of innovative building components for 3d printing; vi) modeling and optimization of thermal energy storage systems. He is author of more than 90 scientific publications at international level. Five of them have been “highly cited papers” according to ISI Web of Science. According to SCOPUS database (June 2024) he has H-Index equal to 27 and more than 2700 citations. He is Associate Editor of the Journal “Energy Reports”, Elsevier. He is Editorial Board Member of the MDPI Journals “Sustainability”, “Energies”, “Buildings” and “Thermo”. He is Reviewer of around 30 international scientific Journals published by Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, MDPI and Springer. He participated to different national and European research projects. Currently, he is the Principal Investigator of the national PRIN Project VISIONS (eVolutIonary deSign of InnOvative heat traNsfer deviceS), and he is the local coordinator of the national PRIN Project TOMORROW (TOpology & Material Optimization using additive manufactuRing to maximize stRuctural and thermal perfOrmances of building Walls). He is the winner of the "Buildings 2023 Young Investigator Award", offered by the international Journal "Buildings" MDPI.

Dr Woo has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering, and he has obtained PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M. He majors in energy system such as HVAC and its heat transfer, optimal design and control of refrigerator, reliability design of thermal components, and failure Analysis of thermal components in marketplace using the Non-destructive such as SEM & XRAY. In 1992.03–1997 he worked in Agency for Defense Development, Chinhae, South Korea, where he has researcher in charge of Development of Naval weapon System. He was working as a Senior Reliability Engineer in Refrigerator Division, Digital Appliance, SAMSUNG Electronics. Now he is working as associate professor in mechanical department, Ethiopian Technical University

Prof. Dr. Blaž Likozar is a permanent position researcher at the National Institute of Chemistry (head), while also affiliated to the University of Ljubljana, as well as the Pulp and Paper Institute. He graduated in Chemical Engineering, then attaining a PhD in Chemical Engineering as well. He is an expert in chemical reaction, reactor and process engineering, as well as multi-scale modelling simulations. He is experienced in unit operation design, construction and optimisation, as well as ab initio modelling. Previously, he worked for 1 year at the University of Leoben, as well as for 0.5 year at the University of Delaware (the Catalysis Center for Energy Innovation). He is the author of >150 documents (peer-reviewed) (h-index: 22; Scopus). He is/was involved in 14 H2020 projects.

Professor Vadym Abyzov - PhD; Doctor of Architecture; Professor of Kyiv National University of Technology and Design; Honoured Architect of Ukraine; Member of the ICOMOS, (2003-2007 - President of ICOMOS-Ukraine).
He graduated from the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture in 1979 and the Netherlands Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS, Rotterdam) in 1998 at the course "Inner City Development in Transition Economies".
His practical and scientific activities are related to the work of the Kyiv Regional Research and Design Institute for Experimental Design (1979-1988) and of the National Research Institute for Architecture and Urban Theory and History in the positions of Head of department, Chief architect, Director (1988-2006). Teaching work - at the Kyiv National Universities since 2007.
Under the guidance and direct participation of Vadym Abyzov more than 70 projects of buildings and urban complexes were developed. Leader of the nominations' projects of Ukrainian cultural heritage objects to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Author of 8 monographs and more than 300 printed scientific works on the development of architecture environment, urban management, as well as the preservation and use of cultural heritage, theory and practice of design.
Officially represented Ukraine at international symposia, meetings, seminars, assemblies of UN/ECE/HABITAT, UNESCO, ICOMOS, the TACIS European Commission. He has numerous State awards.

Aderson Gallego Montoya, and I am an Electromechanical Engineer and hold a Master's degree in Industrial Energy Management from the Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano de Medellín. I am also a professor at the Institución Universitaria Pascual Bravo in Medellín. Currently, I am working on my doctoral thesis, which focuses on the use of alternative fuels, dual combustion, and the application of nanomaterials.

Jinsong Wu received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada, in 2006. He received 2020 IEEE Green Communications and Computing Technical Committee (TCGCC) Distinguished Technical Achievement Recognition Award, for his outstanding technical leadership and achievement in green wireless communications and networking. He was the leading editor and a coauthor of the comprehensive book, entitled Green Communications: Theoretical Fundamentals, Algorithms, and Applications (CRC Press, September 2012). He received the 2017, 2019, and 2021 IEEE System Journal Best Paper Awards. His coauthored paper won the 2018 IEEE Green Communications Best Magazine Paper Award. He was elected Vice-Chair Technical Activities (2017-2022), IEEE Environmental Engineering Initiative, a pan-IEEE effort under IEEE Technical Activities Board (TAB). He was the Founder and Founding Chair of IEEE Technical Committee on Green Communications and Computing (TCGCC) from 2011 to 2017. He was a Co-Founder and the Founding Vice-Chair of the IEEE Technical Committee on Big Data (TCBD) (2014-2022).

Prof. Hanshen Lireceived his B.S.E. degree in Electric Power Engineering and Automation from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China, in 2016, and the M.E. degree in Information, Production and Systems Engineering from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan in 2017, and M.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from SJTU in 2019, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in North China Electric Power University (NCEPU), Beijing, China in 2023. Prof. Li has been a researcher at China Electric Power Planning and Engineering Institute (EPPEI) since 2023. His research interests include planning and operation of active distribution networks, where Li has published 50+papers with over 200 total citations. He has been an editorial board of Journal of Energy Science and Technology since 2023, and also member of IEEE, IEEJ, CSEE and CES

Prof. Ala’a H. Al-Muhtaseb is a Professor in the Department of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering at Sultan Qaboos University (Oman). He obtained his BSc in Chemical Engineering from Jordan University in 1999 and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast (UK) in 2004. Currently, the overarching aim of his research is on the utilization and conversion of waste to energy, such as biofuels, biohydrogen, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and high-value products (e.g. biochar and activated carbon). He has over 220 publications in peer-reviewed Journals, 20 international conferences, and 6 book chapters.

Prof. Ala’a has had many research projects and consultancy services during the last 10 years, with a total value of around 2.5 million USD. As a recognition of excellence in scholarship and exceptional research performance, Prof. Al-Muhtaseb was awarded the prestigious Fellowship at the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), UK. He was selected twice by the “Web of Science” as one of the top 1% of highly cited researchers in 2020 and 2021. Prof. Ala’a also received the Oman National Research Award in 2018 and 2019 in the Energy & Industry Sector by TRC Oman. He is an external examiner for several MSc and PhD students in the UK. He is/was actively involved towards supervising multiple postdoctoral fellows, PhD students, and graduate/undergraduate students.

He is an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) at Department of Marine Engineering, Vietnam Maritime University, Haiphong City, Vietnam. He is an Honorary Professor at School of Computing Science and Engineering, Galgotias University, India and an Honorary Adjunct Professor at School of Computer Science and Engineering, Lovely Professional University (LPU), India. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Faculty at SIMATS Engineering, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, Tamilnadu, India. He received B.Eng and M.Sc at Vietnam Maritime University, Vietnam in 2011 and 2014, respectively. He got Ph.D. Degree at Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan, China in 2018. H  is an Editor/Guest Editor for the reputation journals indexed in SCI/SCIE such as Environment, Development and Sustainability, IET Intelligent Transport System, International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, Sustainable Computing: Informatics and Systems, International Journal of Renewable Energy Technology, International Journal of Energy Optimization and Engineering, IEEE Internet of Things Magazine, Mathematics.In 2015, he had been awarded the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) for the full funding of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in China. In 2019, He had been awarded the NEPTUNE prize for the outstanding researchers by Vietnam Maritime University, In 2022, he is one of five outstanding scientists in Vietnam to be nominated for Ta Quang Buu prize by the National Foundation for Science & Technology Development (NAFOSTED). Additionally, he had been selected and awarded the full scholarship for the Postdoctoral Fellowship Program of National Research Foundation (NRF) for Foreign Researchers by the Government of South Korea.

Marcella Franchi joined Haffner Energy in 2021, a company with a 30-year-old proven expertise in biomass-to-energy technology, and over 40 plants delivered to date. Marcella was a key player in the success of Haffner Energy’s IPO in February 2022. She was appointed Global CMO as the company’s international ambitions expanded. Haffner Energy is now present in the USA market with its patented technologies in line with the IRA, the Clean Hydrogen Strategy and Roadmap guidance, focusing on SAF and renewable hydrogen production from sustainable biomass and organic waste. In May 2024 she was appointed head of the newly created SAF unit as this sector continues to grow within Haffner Energy. Marcella began her career in financial engineering at Warren & Selbert (now Accufy Inc) in London, where she stayed for 17 years. She became a successful entrepreneur, founding and running companies in real estate and rentals in the UK and Portugal. Marcella has a degree from the London School of Economics and a postgraduate in Corporate Finance from the London Business School. She has lectured and consulted at university in Hong Kong and Lisbon. She is on the the board of the LBS Energy Club and Ambassador for Women in Green Hydrogen.

Dr Mohamed Amine MASMOUDI is an assistant professor in the Supply chain & information systems department of the Rabat Business School (RBS). He holds his PhD degree in Operational Research and Production Management, and Management Sciences: Logistics and Production, from the University of Sfax (Tunisia). His main research interest is positioned within the field of green logistics with respect to negative externalities of freight transportation and vehicle routing problems. He is author and co-author to numerous research papers published in top academic journals, such as Transportation Research Part D, Transportation Research Part E, Computers & Operations Research and Journal of Heuristics.

Azer A.Kasimzade is a Professor in the Department of Mechanics and Director of the Earthquake Engineering Scientific Research Center at Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction-AzUAC, Baku, Azerbaijan . He is also a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Civil Engineering at OndokuzMayis University-OMU, Turkey. He currently serves as consultant, peer reviewer and as coordinating member of seismic code committee to the internationally partnerships projects subjected to Structural Seismic Isolation System and Modelling, Monitoring, Model Calibration, Assessment for Highly Reliable Structures. He has received his PhD and DSc degrees in Structural Mechanics from Moscow Civil Engineering University, USSR. They are related to the subject on modelling, safety and analysis problems of offshore platforms. He has worked with several international foundations around the world on earthquake resistant design problems and has authored several scientific publications, patent. He was awarded many research grants and Director of valuable projects in Japan, Turkey, and other countries. He is the recipient of the Science Promotion Award of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, NATO's Emerging Security Challenges Division, Science for Peace Award, USSR's Ministry of High Education the Science Promotion Awards, Awards from many International Conferences. Joachim Holtz graduated in 1967 and received the Ph.D. degree in 1969 from the Technical University Braunschweig, Germany. In 1969 he became Associate Professor and in 1971 Full Professor and Head of the Control Engineering Laboratory, Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, India. He joined the Siemens Research Laboratories in Erlangen, Germany in 1972. From 1976 to 1998, he was Professor and Head of the Electrical Machines and Drives Laboratory, Wuppertal University, Germany. He is presently Professor Emeritus and a Consultant. His publications include 2 invited papers in the PROCEEDINGS OF THE IEEE, 17 invited papers in IEEE Journals, and 27 single-authored IEEE Journal papers. He is the recipient of 17 Prize Paper Awards, a coauthor of seven books. He holds 34 patents. Dr. Holtz is the recipient of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society Dr. Eugene Mittelmann Achievement Award, the IEEE Industrial Applications Society Outstanding Achievement Award, the IEEE Power
